Problem
WordPress media libraries become unmanageable at scale when everything lives in a flat list. Teams managing thousands of assets needed folder navigation and drag-and-drop that still felt reliable inside the admin, across diverse themes and plugin ecosystems.
What I did
I built the folder-based media UX in Vue.js, integrated with the WordPress admin panel. Work covered folder structure, media syncing, responsive layouts, and compatibility across varied WordPress environments so the product could ship as a commercial plugin rather than a one-off admin script.
Outcome
- Improved admin productivity for teams managing thousands of media assets.
- Delivered intuitive folder navigation that became a flagship YayCommerce product with 50K+ sales.
- Maintained a reusable frontend structure for long-term plugin evolution.
